Some of us just love clothes but might not have enough space to keep it all. Seven's Robbin Simmons is showing us how you can free up some space and make money at the same time all in tonight's Smart Shopping. WSVN -- Dresses, shirts, pants, your closet may be full, but there's probably a bunch you're not wearing. Charles Mazzei: "I have a lot of clothes that I don't use, and I come here and get cash for it." Charles Mazzei is making money by selling clothes he longer needs. Clifford Salm, Cash My Clothes: "We created a clothing exchange where people can come, sell us their clothing, and other people can come and re-buy it." It's called "Cash My Clothes." |

Angela Gonzalez: "I think it's great because you have the closet full of clothes, name brand, and you don't use them, and you can actually get money back for them." The store will buy most clothes that are in good condition. Clifford Salm: "If you won't give it to a friend, we are not going to buy it." Store employees will sort through your items. Ana Bunn: "They picked out if they were good. If they are not, they just put it back in the bag." Clifford Salm: "They're making sure that there's no stains, no fading, no tears." The fancier the brand, the more money you'll make and, just like that, you have a few extra dollars. Ana Bunn: "They are writing me a little check right now for it. It's good, it's good." And if you want to go shopping, you're surrounded by great clothes. Angela Gonzalez: "I buy off of here and bring whatever that I don't use." Another good way to save, go vintage. Tish Ramgoolam, Angel's Boutique: "Angel's Boutique is considered vintage and designer merchandise. Vintage clothing from 1940, 50, 60, 70s." Many of the styles are hot right now, and vintage clothes can be much cheaper. Robbin Simmons: "You can save more than 50 percent on these secondhand deals, and don't go by the price tag, try bargaining for a lower price." |
